The Cancún Trust for tourist promotion started in December 1996, for the promotion, publicity and public relations of the Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, municipality. Its resources come from the 2% accommodation tax within the same municipality.
Our mission: To promote Cancún, as the heart of Mexican Caribbean and as an entrance to the Mayan world.
Our vision: To obtain, from every invested peso, effectiveness and productivity for Cancún's promotion.
Commitment: To be the reliable institution that, by means of constant promotion and coordination support, makes contact between the international tourist industry and the local tourist services easier, as well as municipal and state authorities; creating communication and marketing comprehensive programs, which are innovative and which use advanced technology. To be an institution that is more and more directed to the prevailing tendencies of alternative and adventure tourism.
