Giving back is the heart of the PGA TOUR and the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancún is certainly no exception. México's Only PGA TOUR Event devotes its charitable efforts to helping grow the game of golf in the local community and the entire country of México, particularly among young people, as well as financially supporting philanthropic organizations of all types.

Golf PARa Todos

Golf PARa Todos (Golf FORE Everyone) aims to create a fun-filled, diverse and educational program that teaches about the game of golf and its ideals. The program encourages active participation in the game as a participant and as a fan, and facilitates the integration of golf into the lives of all those within the community. A monthly program, Golf PARa Todos is open to people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of golf skill or knowledge.

Mayakoba Junior Golf Classic

In August, the AJGA will once again return to El Camaleón Golf Club, home of the PGA TOUR's Mayakoba Golf Classic, for the annual Mayakoba Junior Golf Classic. 2007's event marked the first Open tournament ever staged in México by the AJGA. The Mayakoba Junior Golf Classic is committed to bringing top-level international junior golf to Mayakoba and to providing playing opportunities for Mexican juniors.

The Mayakoba Golf Classic is proud to announce that selected local charities are selling general admission grounds tickets with all funds generated by their sales going directly to their foundations and charitable efforts. With your purchase of a grounds ticket through any of these groups, the entire cost of your ticket will go directly to that group.

Together, Anything's Possible

The players, partners, sponsors, volunteers and fans of the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour team up off the golf course to contribute millions of dollars to thousands of local charities each year. The majority of the funds raised are directed back into the local community where the tournament is held. This means that there isn't one specific beneficiary of the PGA TOUR. Instead there are nearly 3,000 charities and countless individuals worldwide who are touched by the TOUR's goal of giving back.
