Welcome to Friday at the Mayakoba Golf Classic, and yet another beautiful day. For the second round I walked the course with my good friend Rich Beem, who had a solid round of four under par 66 and is in good position for the weekend. More great views were seen from the golf course today, and my favorite hole of the day was the par 3 seventh hole and you can see some great pictures below. I did record another fall today, which brings my week total to two.
Tonight we went down to 5th Avenue and walked the streets and I thought it was a cool place to hang out. There are countless number of shops and numerous different restaurants to choose from. Any type of food you are looking for is located somewhere on 5th Avenue. For dinner we ate at La Parrilla which is a Mexican restaurant, but it also has all different types of food to choose from. La Parrilla was a highly recommended restaurant to us and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food was really good, the ambiance is cool, and the prices are very reasonable. When you visit Playa del Carmen, 5th Avenue is definitely a place to spend some time.
