To request credentials for the Mayakoba Golf Classic to be played February 22 - 26, 2012, please complete the appropriate sections of the form below. This must be completed for admittance onto the Mayakoba property. If you have questions please contact , Media Director.

Please complete the application form supplied and email or fax by February 10, 2012. No applications will be accepted after this date. If you have questions, email , Media Director.

We can accept only one application per news agency. Please coordinate your organization's planned coverage of the Mayakoba Golf Classic and include all requests on one application, such as news, sports and photography departments. We are unable to accept requests for personnel not directly involved in coverage of the event, such as sales, marketing or any non-news personnel. This application for accreditation does not ensure that credentials will be issued.

Applications for credentials will be considered from representatives of:

Daily newspapers as well as wire and news services

National or international golf magazines that regularly provide tournament coverage

News and sports magazines that regularly cover golf

National radio and television networks

Local radio and television stations within the Cancun and Mexico City coverage area

Recognized golf or legitimate news Internet sites that update news content daily

Credentials will not be afforded to freelance journalists not working on assignment.

Upon approval of your request, we will issue an entrance pass to the Mayakoba property that will allow gate admission and access to the media center at El Camaleón Golf Club. You will then be given your media credentials good for access to the golf course and grounds for the remainder of the week of the event. One pass will be issued per journalist to the news organization's primary address unless other arrangements are made in advance. Each media person must pick up their own credential.

Media parking will be provided on-site at Mayakoba with shuttles to the El Camaleón clubhouse and media center. Please enter through Mayakoba's main entrance and follow signs to VIP parking.

Exclusive television and radio rights have been licensed by the Mayakoba Golf Classic for the origination of live, play-by-play coverage of the event from the golf course. Other television and radio stations or networks may provide coverage of the event provided they agree to use footage only during regularly schedule sports news programming.

Toll restricted phones will be provided for use by working media. If you require an unrestricted line dedicated to your organization, arrangements can be made. Your company will be responsible for the installation of an additional phone line.
