Spectators at the 2012 Mayakoba Golf Classic will be permitted to carry mobile devices and use them in select areas of El Camaleón Golf Club as part of the PGA TOUR’s new mobile device policy. While cell phones and other mobile devices will now be allowed on property, several regulations will be in place to prevent any distractions or disruptions of play:

Photography and video is prohibited at all times.

The use of silence mode is required.

Phone calls only permitted in authorized zones.

Do not disturb play at any time.

Mayakoba Golf Classic officials will utilize the tournament’s social networking sites on Facebook and Twitter to connect with fans on-site during the event and offer special promotions and alerts. Fans are encouraged to share their experience through Facebook and Twitter while at the tournament.
