Q. (On the 5-under-par 65)
VAUGHN TAYLOR: It was a good day. I played pretty solid, and kept it in play, a key out here.
Q. (On playing the Mayokoba Golf Classic)
VAUGHN TAYLOR: A little like being a rookie again, you don't know where to eat or much about the golf course, but it's nice to see different places and be able to do different things. I've enjoyed the area and the golf course this week.
Q. (On early-season goals)
VAUGHN TAYLOR: I'm trying to set my schedule to Augusta (Masters Tournament). I was planning on playing this week, either (World Golf Championships-Accenture) Match Play (Championship) or here, and it worked out that México was the place.
Q. (On the state of his game)
VAUGHN TAYLOR: It's pretty good. I feel like I'm close. I've hit it really well the last couple of days. Probably didn't hit it as good today, but it's getting there.
Q. (On the warm temperatures)
VAUGHN TAYLOR: I'm a warm-weather player so this is ideal for me.
