PLAYA DEL CARMEN -- Mark Wilson finished at 13-under par 267 to earn his second career PGA TOUR victory by two strokes over J.J. Henry.

• Wilson's win Sunday (March 1, 2009) at the Mayakoba Golf Classic comes almost two years to the day of his first PGA TOUR victory at the Honda Classic on March 4, 2007.

• Wilson's 20 birdies this week ties Fred Funk for the tournament record behind Brian Gay's 23 in 2008.

• Henry shot a 11-under 269 to finish second, which is his best finish since the 2006 season, when he won the Buick Championship and tied for second at the FBR Open.

• Kevin Streelman turned in the round of the day with a 6-under 64 to finish a career-best tied for third at 10-under 270. Streelman's previous career-best finish was a tie for fourth at The Barclays in 2008. Prior to Sunday, Streelman's best final-round score was a 66 at the 2008 Buick Open.

• Heath Slocum finished tied for third at 10-under 270 to earn his best finish since a tie for second at the 2007 PODS Championship. Slocum has missed three of five cuts this season to go with a tie for 54th at the 50th Bob Hope Classic and a tie for third Sunday.

• El Camaleón Golf Club, designed by 2009 Presidents Cup International Team Captain Greg Norman, was ranked No. 14 among most-difficult courses on the PGA TOUR in 2008 (71.00). The par-4 third hole (462 yards) was ranked 22nd among the toughest holes on TOUR last year (4.385). OHL's ecological diligence has served it well in México, where strong government regulations are enforced to protect the environment. A presence in México since 1980, OHL employs over 2,000 people there and has built highways, bridges, hotels and hospitals. The tourism complex at Mayakoba, which will eventually include two or three golf courses and six luxury hotels, is OHL's most ambitious hospitality project to date.

El Camaleón Golf Course at the Mayakoba resort is Greg Norman's latest masterwork. The 7,039-yard layout is unique - not just to Mexico but to the entire world of golf. The course bends through three distinct landscapes—mangrove jungles, limestone canals and stunning, oceanfront stretches of sand. El Camaleón incorporates a cenote, a massive underground cavern, into the heart of the opening fairway. The handsome, Mayan influenced clubhouse that rises above the 18th green will feature a fine dining room with stunning views over the course.  The adjoining practice facility and driving range are of international caliber.  With Mayakoba's unique system of lagoons, golfers will be able to step out of their rooms and into a boat, which will ferry them directly to the first tee. El Camaleón Golf Course is managed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
