The Mayakoba Golf Classic invites you and your family and friends to join us Sunday, January 24, at 2 p.m. at El Camaleón Golf Club in Mayakoba for Golf PARa Todos.

Mark Wilson, PGA TOUR pro and champion of the 2009 Mayakoba Golf Classic, will be in attendance and you will have the opportunity to meet and greet the champ! Autographs and photo opportunities will be available for all.

Also part of the excitement at this month's Golf PARa Todos will be the official grand opening of the new Jim McLean Golf Academy at Mayakoba. Award-winning instructor Jim McLean will be on hand to participate in the grand opening as well as give a clinic and perform a trick shot show.

Participants can learn golf in group and individual classes for both adults and children. Enjoy a delicious lunch provided by Yaxche Maya Cuisine, a Distinguished Restaurant of North America. Participate in the raffle and win surprise prizes. All while helping the growth and development of golf in México!

Golf PARa Todos aims to create a fun-filled, diverse and educational program that teaches about the game of golf and its ideals. The program encourages active participation in the game as a participant and as a fan, and facilitates the integration of golf into the lives of all those within the community.

The program is free and is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. No previous knowledge of golf is necessary.

On Sunday, January 24, distinguished golf instructor Jim McLean will join the Mayakoba family to officially launch the Jim McLean Golf Academy at El Camaleón.

The state-of-the-art academy was unveiled and unofficially launched this fall at Mayakoba, combining with the Greg Norman-designed El Camaleón Golf Club to further establish Mayakoba as the destination of choice for discerning golf travelers in México. The Mayakoba location is the first and only Jim McLean Golf Academy in México.

The new golf academy joins México's Only PGA TOUR Event as a major element of the resort's growing recognition as México's premier golf destination.

The Jim McLean Golf Academy at Mayakoba features a two-bay SuperStation. Students will benefit from the latest technology in golf analysis computer software as well as highly personalized instruction programs crafted by certified Jim McLean Master Instructors.
