 | Golf PARa Todos to Kick Off its 5th Season July 17 |

For the fifth consecutive season, the Mayakoba Golf Classic (MGC) and El Camaleón Golf Club will host its popular monthly community initiative, Golf PARa Todos . During the last edition of Golf PARa Todos, on January 23, the program broke the Guinness World Record for the Largest Golf Lesson with 1,073 participants. The record was previously held by Pine Valley in Beijing, China.
The MGC invites you, your family and friends to join us Sunday, July 17, at 2 p.m. for Golf PARa Todos.
Golf PARa Todos is open to all members of the community without cost and features:
- Individual and group golf lessons for participants of all ages and skill level
- Complimentary food and refreshments
- Raffle prizes
Each month several members of the community, known as the "Amigos” of Golf PARa Todos, donate their time to staff the events and share their experience, knowledge and excitement for golf with you. The Amigos will be ready and available to help you get the most out of your Golf PARa Todos experience.
Golf PARa Todos aims to create a fun-filled, diverse and educational program that teaches about the game of golf and its ideals. The program encourages active participation in the game as a participant and as a fan, and facilitates the integration of golf into the lives of all those within the community.
The program is free and is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. No previous knowledge of golf is necessary.

 | Mayakoba Golf Classic visits Monterrey and Mexico City |

It’s never too early to begin promoting the next edition of the MGC! Just a few months after the 5th Anniversary Tournament the MGC was back on the road building excitement for the 2012 MGC. Among the stops were two prestigious golf events in Monterrey and Mexico City.
In Monterrey, the MGC, Mayakoba Residences and El Camaleón Golf Club participated in the anniversary tournament of Club Campestre Monterrey from the 1st to 4th of June. More than 500 club members competed in various categories over the four days. The 1st and 2nd place finishers in the Long Drive contest won a complimentary hotel stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba with golf included.
From the 10th to 12th of June the MGC was showcased at the first Expo Golf in Mexico City at the Centro Banamex Convention Center. All attendees were invited to participate in a raffle for a TaylorMade Burner Driver compliments of the MGC. Jonathan Hauff, age 13 was the lucky winner of the raffle and could not have been more excited to take home his new Driver.

 | Mayakoba Golf Classic and INDE Solidaridad Partnership |

The MGC through its community program, Golf PARa Todos and the Sport Institute of Solidaridad have begun a collaborative effort to integrate golf into the lives of the youth of Solidaridad.
As an initial step in this new partnership, Physical Education Coordinators for the municipality were invited to take their first golf lesson at El Camaleón Golf Course, taught by Marcos Zuazu of the Jim McLean Golf School, so they could experience the game first hand.
