The Mayakoba Golf Classic is proud to announce the launch of Golf PARa Todos for the 2009 season. We invite you to join us on Sunday, July 19, from 2 pm to 4 pm for the first installment of the successful community golf program. There will be golf lessons, raffles, games, complimentary food and much more.

Golf PARa Todos aims to create a fun-filled, diverse and educational program that teaches about the game of golf and its ideals. The program encourages active participation in the game as a participant and as a fan, and facilitates the integration of golf into the lives of all those within the community. Golf PARa Todos is a community program presented by the Mayakoba Golf Classic.

The inaugural installment of Golf PARa Todos was held in October 2007 at El Camaleón Golf Club in Playa del Carmen. A monthly program, Golf PARa Todos is open to people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of golf skill or knowledge. In just two years of the program, more than 3500 people have attended the event.

The American Junior Golf Association will make its third-annual voyage to México for the Mayakoba Junior Golf Classic in August. Golf's Next Generation will return to El Camaleón Golf Club August 17-20 and follow in the footsteps of PGA TOUR stars and try to tame Greg Norman’s 18-hole masterpiece.

The tournament will feature 78 boys and girls, ages 12-18, competing in 54 holes of stroke play under PGA TOUR conditions at the home of the PGA TOUR's Mayakoba Golf Classic.

Tournament officials will again make every effort to simulate the PGA TOUR experience for all participating junior golfers. From the Pairings Party held on the shores of the Caribbean Sea at Mayakoba's unique MK Blue to the course conditions and hole locations, junior golfers will receive the same red carpet treatment afforded to PGA TOUR pros in February.
