The Mayakoba Golf Classic celebrated the one-year anniversary of its hugely successful community program, Golf PARa Todos, on October 12 when nearly 400 people participated in the event.

Golf PARa Todos aims to create a fun-filled, diverse and educational program that teaches about the game of golf and its ideals. The program encourages active participation in the game as a participant and as a fan, and facilitates the integration of golf into the lives of all those within the community. Golf PARa Todos is a community program presented by the Mayakoba Golf Classic.

The anniversary event of Golf PARa Todos again featured an afternoon full of golf, prizes, instruction and plenty of great food from Carlos 'N Charlies and Señor Frogs.

During the past several weeks on the PGA TOUR, Mayakoba Golf Classic participants have enjoyed tremendous success. In the first five weeks of the TOUR's seven-week long final stretch known as the Fall Series, the golf world witnessed the emergence of Marc Turnesa with his victory at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open and a return to the winner's circle for Cameron Beckman at the Frys.com Open, his second PGA TOUR victory.

Additionally, the Mayakoba Golf Classic has featured over 40 of the top 125 on current year's PGA TOUR money list since the event's inception in 2007.
