February 2008 will mark the second time the PGA TOUR leaves the United States for the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun. Held at the El Camaleon Golf Club at Mayakoba in the Mexican Caribbean, the inaugural 2007 event was widely recognized as a smashing success by all involved; PGA TOUR players, volunteers, sponsors, spectators and all.

Take advantage of this chance to soak up the sun and be part of the team for Mexico's only PGA TOUR event! Volunteers are the backbone of every golf tournament and Mayakoba's formidable team of Ambassadors is no different!

The Mayakoba Golf Classic will again coordinate an exchange program where PGA TOUR volunteers from stateside events will participate as part of Mayakoba's Ambassador corps. At the golf course, Ambassadors will be needed for many tasks such as marshals, walking scorers, standard bearers, shuttle drivers and more. This is your chance to be inside the ropes outside the country when 132 PGA TOUR pros tee it up gunning for the championship that Fred Funk captured in the tournament's first year.

In 2007, groups of volunteers from Milwaukee, Wis., and Naples, Fla., participated in the inaugural event and each returned home with a wonderful experience and some great memories.

Ambassadors will be housed just minutes away from Mayakoba at an all-inclusive beach resort. Daily transportation to and from the golf course will be included.

Greg Norman Collection volunteer uniform provided at no charge

Continental breakfast and lunch provided each day to those working

Volunteer credentials grant access to tournament grounds on days not scheduled to work

El Camaleón is aptly named for its diverse layout and ever-changing landscape, which bends through tropical jungles, dense mangroves and oceanfront stretches.
